Museum for everyone - Accessibility

The Libra museum has no architectural barriers and is equipped with an elevator for easy access to the first floor.
In the parking lot in front of the entrance there are parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities.
The museum's toilets are in accordance with the law and allow use by people with walking difficulties and in wheelchairs.

Admission is free for people with disabilities and their companions (also for certified pupils visiting the class or for visits to day centers, residential structures and the like)

All guided tours can be adapted to different age levels, abilities and needs. We invite you to contact us in order to better organize the visit.
Among our proposals, a route for schools is designed to be used also by blind people.

The Museum, as part of the Pact for the School of the Terre d'Argine Union, participates in the experimentation "Special Museums for all" (sperimentazione "Musei speciali per tutti") promoted by IBC Emilia-Romagna Region together with the "Fanti" and "Vallauri" Institutes of Carpi with the aim to make its heritage fully accessible to all visitors by working to ensure physical, sensorial and cultural accessibility.

So if you come to visit, don't forget to ask for free our Tablet-Guide at the ticket office to visit the rooms of the Museum !!!
