History, science and territory

The Scale Museum continues its efforts to enhance its collection of over 1300 measuring instruments!On display are majestic or pocket scales, metres and arms, weights of various materials and shapes... all instruments that man invented and perfected to 'weigh pieces of the world', objects that tell the story of trade but also the evolution of science and how an area has changed

The proposals for the 2022/23 school year include some 'best classic' and many new additions, all to be discovered!

Eacht tour lasts between 1 and 2 hours (depending on the needs of the class) and can be enjoyed in different ways (NB: for secondary schools only in the museum):

  • at the museum (cost € 3 per person - pre-school € 1.75)
  • presence of an expert at school in a classroom or outdoors (cost 140 € one class, 250 € two classes on the same morning)
  • with distance learning modality (cost €75 per class)



More proposals for teachers

  • possibility of agreeing on the content of interventions together in detail
  • designing  broader labs  (PON calls, Foundation projects, Plans etc.)
  • teacher training courses  on science and technology 
  • development of training and research-action paths on  science and technology education (including coding and computational thinking), metrology, the scientific method and the design of transversal and interdisciplinary paths
